To the south of O Forno de Catuxa is O Pedregal<\/strong>, a souto (<\/em>forest) of chestnut, oak, and cork oak trees, near the Vilamoure<\/em> River.\nFrom there to As Raposeiras<\/strong> there is a delightful walk: native trees, corredoiras<\/em> or walks between banks.\nSo evocative, so ours… You will hear the murmur of runoff water that feeds fountains of those that kill thirst and sorrows.\nAnd then she goes to the river, rhythmic, calm. <\/p>\n\n

You’ll see fox dens and wolf trails because they still live and roam here.\nAt night they lurk from the forest, but avoid crossing A Ponte do Medo<\/em>, a natural boundary that crosses the Vilamoure River and that they only cross when hunger strikes.\nThat’s what the ancestors say.\nAnd we will relive that, visiting the lush forest and remembering stories and traditions of magical Galicia. <\/p>\n\n
