\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tPaco Pestana D\u00edaz was a Galician sculptor.\nHe was born in 1949 in Peredo (Castroverde, Lugo) and spent his last days in O Forno de Catuxa (Esperante, Lugo), a rural tourism accommodation in which he was finishing several works made ad hoc.\nHe died there suddenly on October 11, 2021 and his last works remain there.\nPestana was a singular artist and alien to any stereotype.\nHis work was born from his experiences as a rural child and combined his creative audacity with his fascination for Galicia.\nIt was the landscape and the people of this land that forged his sharp and irreverent perspective.\nThat which has made him one of the relevant and authentic figures of the contemporary art scene. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
